If you like movies with a twist at the end, you will like this one. DOT THE I
Darren Aronofsky’s first feature film.
I have to admit I had my eyes shut in some parts of this film. It wasn’t like some films that let your imagination roam instead of showing you a gruesome graphic scene, Lars von Trier didn’t hold anything back. Starting Charlotte Gainsbourg and Willem Dafoe. If you do choose to watch this film make sure you watch The Criterion Collection release it is uncut unlike the other release.
FEAR AND LOATHING IN LAS VEGAS written by Hunter S. Thompson directed by Terry Gilliam
Hunter S. Thompson would have been 74 today.
The first time I watched this film was in a VHS that had came from Mexico. I was blown away! This film sparked something inside of me that made me want more of Mexican cinema, and I don’t think I was the only one. This film really put Mexico on the map for great film makers. A film directed by Alejandro Gonzalez Iñarritu and written by Guillermo Arriaga.
This drama is based on three stories that come together in a tragic car accident.
Alejandro González Iñárritu has directed some of my favorite films. If you want to see a good drama pick up one of Iñárritu’s films. Amorres Perros, 21 Grams, Babel, Biutiful. These films are full of emotion from beginning to end.
